In New Jersey, despite progress in maternal health equity, stark racial disparities persist—Black women and infants face significantly higher mortality rates than their white counterparts. The Courage in Care exhibit celebrates the vital work of doulas through photojournalism and storytelling, highlighting the importance of dignified, culturally sensitive care.
