A note from Ms Harmony
I began teaching CPR in 2010, when I was promoted to Health & Safety Coordinator at a private preschool. I started by training staff who needed to renew their certifications and new hires preparing to care for children. Then parents and caregivers began asking if they could learn, too. One class led to another, and the work grew from the preschool into the community.
When I became a doula, CPR training came with me. Supporting families with newborns showed me how much new parents wanted to understand the signs of a breathing or cardiac emergency and how reassuring it could be to practice what to do before they ever faced one. I’ve now trained more than 500 families, and I still approach each class with the same care I bring into their homes.
CPR with Harmony™ is the Health & Safety Program of Parenting With Harmony. As a Licensed Training Provider through the American Red Cross, I teach CPR, AED, and first aid skills to families, caregivers, childcare teams, and community groups. My hope for you, as you read this, is that you know these skills are within your reach—and that you feel welcome to learn them with me.
