Charity “Ms. Harmony” Williams is the founder of Parenting With Harmony and a devoted family-support professional who has spent more than 20 years helping families feel cared for, understood and less alone through life’s most meaningful transitions.
Her work began in traditional childcare, where she was invited into the everyday lives of the families she served. Caring for their children allowed her to see the fuller story unfolding around them—the exhaustion behind a new mother’s smile, the grief carried quietly through an unexpected diagnosis or loss, and the strain placed on parents and children when intimate relationships and family structures began to change.
Meet Ms. Harmony

Over time, Ms. Harmony became more than a childcare provider. She became a trusted confidante: someone parents could speak with honestly, rely on during uncertain moments and ask to remain by their side when life no longer looked the way they had imagined. Those quiet requests shaped the direction of her work. As the needs of her families grew and changed, she believed her skills should grow with them. Ms. Harmony pursued training and certifications that allowed her to move beyond traditional childcare and continue supporting families through the many seasons of parenthood—from welcoming and caring for a newborn, to navigating pregnancy or infant loss, to facing separation, transforming a co-parenting relationship and rebuilding family life in a new form.
Today, her experience includes postpartum doula and newborn care, early-childhood education, private nanny care, parent coaching, divorce mediation, supervised visitation, parenting coordination and family reunification support. Having served more than 250 families, she brings a rare understanding of how the wellbeing of a child is connected to the wellbeing of the parents, their relationships and the home surrounding them.As a certified culinary chef, Ms. Harmony also incorporates restorative nourishment into the Postpartum Harmony experience, recognizing that food, rest and thoughtful care can help a mother and household begin to find their footing again

Through photography and storytelling, the exhibit recognized the people and relationships that help families feel supported, heard, and cared for throughout the transition to parenthood.
